Dad,

Can we have Brenda's recipe for that salsa?  We have been trying to make homemade salsa and it just doesn't compare to hers.  Please share the wealth!!!!

Love,

Becky

My Dearest Rebecca,

I love you, you sweet strawberry blonde (at one time) child of mine; but....

You’re killing me!!!!!!!

Love, Dad

Dan or should I say "Dad",

It's not what we take with us, but what we leave behind...plus it was so tasty that we must have more.  You have to give up something.  It's either the "killer" gravy or the salsa, you decide!!!!!

P.S.  Yes, I'll never forget driving 120 MPH in the IROC...good times.

Very Respectfully,

Capt. Dave Wallick

Dave,

It can't be replicated, that's the problem.

Good to hear from you, Captain........

Besides, oh ye of little faith; the salsa recipe is mine, not Brenda's.

I can, of course, tell you what to put in the recipe. I can even tell you what to do to each item as/before you put it into the recipe. I can further tell you how to plant and grow and pick only the best tomatoes, peppers, onions, cilantro, etc... Fresh, fresh produce is what you need. Just like fish, so fresh it was still swimming this morning and it's your dinner tonight.

Can only be made in big batches, tasting as you simmer the PEELED tomatoes, etc.... Even if you don't can or jar it like we do they will still be good in the fridge (in a closed jar) for about 2 weeks. You'd have to give away a lot.

You will probably have to do this at least 5 or 6 times a year for a minimum of 2 or 3 years before you ever get it right, or at least the way you like it, he-he-he....

STILL WANT THE RECIPE???????

Take care, really good to hear from you, David.

Oh well, we'll have to come visit you then.  Hope everything is going well and look forward to seeing you again.
